The Director of the Abuja School of Social and Political Thoughts, Sam Amadi, has said the Nigerian government’s failure to abort the ongoing nationwide protest has caused massive damage.
Amadi in a post on his X handle on Friday said the government had three weeks to abort the protest through good communication and respectful engagement with citizens.
The former Executive Chairman of the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission, NERC, said the government instead resorted to mobilizing thugs and paying people to speak against the organizers of the protest.
“Government had three weeks to abort this protest through good communication and respectful engagement with citizens.
“But it resorted to mobilizing thugs and paying people to speak against so called organizers. Now government failure has caused massive damage,” Amadi posted on X.
