Moses Simon has said he is fit to feature for Nantes in their upcoming pre-season friendlies against Lorient and Crystal Palace despite fresh injury fears.
Nantes revealed after the club’s friendly against Laval on Saturday that the winger is nursing an ankle injury.
Simon scored the Canaries winning goal in the 2-1 victory.
The Nigeria international stated that the injury is not serious.
“Yes, I felt some pains around my ankle, but I am good to go, I will resume training and play our next pre-season game against Lorient on Wednesday, it’s nothing serious,” he told SCORENigeria.
Simon missed action for three months last season after sustaining an injury on international duty in March.
