‘No hiding place for wicked Buhari’ – Sowore on retiring to Niger Republic
The presidential candidate of the African Action Congress,
AAC, in the 2023 general election, Omoyole Sowore, has said there is no hiding
place for ‘wicked’ President Muhammadu Buhari.
Sowore said Buhari must pay for his crimes against humanity.
He was reacting to Buhari’s comment on relocating to Niger
Republic after May 29.
Buhari had vowed to relocate to Niger Republic from Daura,
Katsina State, if his peace is disturbed.
He spoke at the State House while hosting some residents of
the Federal Capital Territory led by the Minister, Muhammad Musa Bello, on
Eid-el-Fitr Sallah homage.
“I can’t wait to go home to Daura. If they make any noise to
disturb me in Daura, I will leave for the Niger Republic. I deliberately
arranged to be as far away as possible.
“I got what I wanted and will quietly retire to my home
town. In spite of technology, it will not be easy to get to Daura,” he said.
Reacting, Sowore said no matter how long it takes, Buhari
would be made to pay for his atrocities.
Tweeting, Sowore wrote: “President @Mbuhari, sorry, there
will be no hiding place for the wicked. You must pay for your crimes against
humanity.
“Till the end of time, your atrocities will fish you out. It
doesn’t matter how long it takes, it won’t matter where you hide, you will
answer for your crimes. #Revolutionnow.”
