UCL: What Vinicius said about Benzema after Real Madrid’s 4-3 defeat to Man City
Real Madrid forward, Vinicius Junior has hailed striker partner Karim Benzema after he scored twice in their 4-3 defeat to Manchester City on Tuesday.
Kevin De Bruyne and Gabriel Jesus opened the scoring for City, before Benzema pulled one back.
Phil Foden put the Premier League champions ahead again.
Bernardo Silva struck after Vinicius Junior scored for Los Blancos, before Benzema’s late penalty made the margin a narrow one.
The brace means the France forward has now scored 14 Champions League goals this season.
“What can you say about Karim Benzema? “He’s a great player, he’s my brother.
“Let’s hope he can end the season winning LaLiga, winning the Champions League and finish up with the Ballon d’Or,” Vinicius Jr said.
